Good luck and welcome.

Rules and tips for your visit.

Instructions for using the shaft site.

The north-eastern part of the site, on which the headframe stands, is completely covered by the historic concrete shaft hall floor, one third of which has been preserved. Many steel artefacts from the former production site have been preserved on and in it.

Like the winding tower, this area may not be entered - except as part of a guided tour - so please stay on the bridge and the path.

The path across the site is open to the public.

The south-western part of the site, which is now a green area, was an open space between the shaft hall, compressor house and ore bunker when the mine was still in operation.

This is where the permanent exhibition on the history, working environment and technical features of the Anna shaft begins.

The green area is also accessible to all visitors as a park where they can relax, linger and have a snack - albeit under more favourable conditions than for the five miners pictured here.
